where are good places to buy weapons in fallout 3?
i need to sell and buy stuff. and i need ammo and new,better weapons. help?

The best place is Canterbury Commons is a good place to buy weapons. You have to pay off the mayor to invest in the weapons dealer, but once you do, you get some pretty good stuff.
Try to also get some schematics for some weapons. Those yield some really good guns. The first weapon I made was the deathclaw glove. Was pretty fantastic until I found a powerfist.
If you’re early on, a good place to raid is the Super Duper Mart north of Grayditch. It’s full of raiders that you can "raid." Fortunately, they’re separated by the partitions in the market that it’s easy to lure them away from each other.
Another "early-on" place to get some gear is in the nearby school just to the left of the entrance of vault 101. Again, filled with raiders, but you can just kill em then get their guns.
You’ll probably end up getting most of your armor/guns from the Talon Company, who always seem to pop up while you fast travel. They have decent armor and good weapons like the Laser Rifle and combat shot gun.
I just finished my play-through and, quite honestly, there was a point were I just didn’t need to search for weapons. Just grab what you can off of whomever and then repair what you have and move on. You’ll find that you won’t be able to carry all the weapons you find.
Just be sure to repair as much as you can and carry a buttload of stimpacks with you.
Find the best weapon here and then go get it
Depends how far you are in the game, if your just beginning or slightly farther you can go see Moira at Craterside Supply in Megaton, near the middle try RivetCity Market, near the end go to the Citadel.
Well there are a lot of places to buy good weapons. There’s Craterside Supply in Megaton, the market in Rivet City, the armory in the Citadel, and the best are the merchants that you’ll randomly see. A good place to find merchants is Paradise Falls. Remember, if you have a weapon that’s breaking, you can fix it with another weapon of the same kind.
First, any weapons you buy are going to be in crummy condition. Beef up your repair skill, then you can take a busted up old piece of junk and repair it with other weapons of the same kind and end up with a nice weapon.
Flak and Shrapnel in Rivet City have a great selection. but you need to ask them where the good stuff is.
As far as selling stuff, about every three days sellers receive more money, so you can trade that way. Also consider trading for chems and ammunition that you don’t use. they have no weight and trade well.

The best place to buy and sell is Flak and Shrapnel’s. Shrapnel has quite a lot of weapons and ammo than anyone else.
You can also buy and sell stuffs with Moira, Doc Brown (for Meds), Brass Lantern (for Food) and the trade caravans that you find in the Wasteland.
