The 22 caliber CB are a very short, low velocity round which was originally designed to be shot in Shooting Galleries. It is quiet, low noise, incredibly low recoil, and cheap to manufacture. It can be fired in any modern firearm which will chamber .22 Long Rifle, but it can’t cycle the action of a semi-auto, and it leaves a powder ring in the chamber which makes the .22 LR hard to chamber unless you scrub the chamber well. They are not very accurate in the .22 LR due to the long jump from the case to the chamber throat and rifling.
If they are 22 Long Rifle cartidges, any gun so chambered will fire them. The gun will be marked "22 LR".
First and foremost Federal Law states you must be 18 years of age to purchase shotguns, and rifles, 21 years of age to purchase handguns or handgun ammunition. If you are underage, an adult would have to purchase the ammunition….
Remington manufactures a full line of 22LR rimfire rifles…..What particular rifle would you want to know about? Any rifle that is 22 Long Rifle caliber can fire 22 LR ammunition…….
You can shoot them from any 22 long rifle or pistol no matter what brand or who manufactured the rifle, pistol or revolver.*
It seems like everyone is of the mind set, that the only standard .22 ammunition, is the long rifle bullets.
unless the gun, is stamped .22 long rifle only, you have the option of .22 longs & .22 shorts also
Any 22 labeled 22lr or 22lr ONLY. Regardless of who makes it. Remington, Winchester, Ruger, Smith and Wesson, etc.
