There are several companies that make gas piston uppers, or gas piston conversion kits. It is better to go with an upper designed for a gas piston as there will be less modification needed. Keep in mind that both types are going to be expensive. A gas piston set will run you about $500 or more and a dedicated gas piston upper will run you about $1000+. Not sure but if you live in the US it really does not matter, buy the first one you can find of any military Style weapon, they are being bought up by the second and getting harder to find. Reason is everyone is afraid the new administration will ban, restrict, ownership of this kind of weapon in many ways.
