A lot of us here in the hunting section have talked about home defense here. Would it be wise for me to save some money and buy a modern military surplus body armor vest with ceramic trauma plates? Think about it, I will be defending my home. But what if the intruder guy shoots me before I shoot him? Well, at least I will have body armor and he won't...before I pepper him with 00 buckshot.

Hey, i'm guessing since your on here you either own a gun shop, or were interested by the question, but either way your here and helpful information is a plus. I am 13 years old and i love hunting and guns. Im not a psycho with guns or anything, im pro guns and pro gun control. I have had the dream of owning a gun shop, because it is a job I would really really love because I would relate with the customers or others at the shop. I was wondering what kind of money it takes to start, what it takes to get a license, or what kind of license I need, what kind of schooling it takes. I plan straight out of highschool to join the army for a few years, i'm doing the 2 year enlistment to help with college and pass time, and keep myself out of trouble. Then when im 21 or 22 start my schooling and work on my license and gunsmith work to get ready for the shop. Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance.~Silas
i was on wikipedia, and i read the plot for the 50 cent game blood on the sand. now tell me, isn't this the most remedial storyline for a game ever? and it fits 50 so perfectly too:
PLOT:
G-Unit are putting on a show somewhere in the middle east. The crowd are pleased, but the promoter refuses to pay 50 and G-Unit. 50 is not going to leave without his money, so he hassles and threatens the promoter. The promoter does not give them money, but a very valuable diamond encrusted skull. 50 and G-Unit are about to leave the country when they are ambushed and the skull is taken away from them. The game then continues with 50 trying to get what's rightfully his and find out who ambushed him and why. Much of the game is spent following 50 Cent when he is without the skull.
I buy for this question. he would chase someone for a skull! and what makes it worse is, he's a celebrity. he already has money and doesn't need anymore, so what's the point of going through all that trouble?
Okay, i'll rewrite the question:
Buy or Sell: 50 cent's new game Blood on the sand will be mor disappointing than Bulletproof?
i know i spelled more wrong!
just stfu and answer the question!
has done 2 tours already in Iraq. As both a father of a Marine and as as Viet Nam Marine Corps veteran I find that in excusable! Regardless of how one feels about the war, in my opinion we need to supply our ground forces with the best equipment money can buy!
The right has us buying the cheapest stuff from anywhere in the world that has a ready supply of slave labor. Allows individuals ( CEOs ) to make obscene amounts of money while there companies go bankrupt leaving employees and retirees destitute.
The left wants to build a Marxist utopian wonderland were the government heals all, feeds all, controls all.
If this was a shooting war, I would dig a hole and start firing both directions.
I love firearms, and i want to move from shotgun sports to handgun sports, but before i invest a lot of money, i would like to find a cheap starter in 9mm, please help!

One man is shot and killed by a security guard. The other flees immediately with no money but is later captured and put on trial. Which statement below would most likely be true:
A. He can be tried and convicted for the offense of robbery.
B. He can be tried for the offense of felony murder.
C. None of the above.
Does anyone know where I can buy a used Glock 26 online? I'm trying not to spend a lot of money. So far I have found them for around 0. Are there any places that are cheaper? Thanks!
I have been saving up my money to get an assault rifle for my 21st birthday. My buddy lives by a store up in Phoenix where they have a Romanian semi-auto AK-47 for 400 and a AR-15 for 850. I like the accuracy of American weapons, but I personally like the design of the AK better and its power. I live in Tucson, which has weather like Phoenix, and heard that AR-15's require constant cleaning. Being that Arizona is a desert and of course dust is a problem will it be a problem to maintain the AR-15? Also do you think these are fair prices and which gun would you buy? I will be using the gun just for sport and showing off, not hunting.
Here's a pic of what the AK I want to buy looks like

Guns don't kill people, people do.
the game was not 2D, it was similar to grand theft auto and crazy taxi, except in this game you don't get out of your vehicle at all. i think i remember battling with other cars. if you drive people around, they give you money, and you use the money to buy weapons for your car so you can fight other gangs...that's all i can pretty much remember. it was in a futuristic city, and it was always night time. and some of the passengers had mohawks and you had to drive to certain areas in a certain amount of time...it probably came out in the early 90's, it was a computer game, not a game for play station or nintendo or anything like that. also, you would drive your car to certain buildings, body shops or weapon shops, where they would upgrade your car for money.
its not driver

Hello, my question is for RuneScape, is there a way to see myself with armor and weapons on before I buy it? I mean, I wanna see how good stuff looks before I buy and maybe lose money... maybe an app or something... I have mac and pc so that's no prob.
i have the money for both, but i am find a hard time deciding which pistol to go with, i searched and searched and i find about 50/50 opinion of both. what are the pros and cons on each gun...i am looking to buy a 9mm. please any help
I am new to reloading and buying reloading supplies, and basically want to be able to shoot cheaper, consistently, and accurately. I would like to know if I am shooting some reloads that are at least as accurate and have the muzzle velocity of the same grain bullet as factory loads. Can you look up factory load data online and produce something similar going straight out of a reloading book? Would rather spend the money on other reloading supplies and if needed buy a chronograph later.
Increase in money so that you could make a profit? How'd you do? Make money? Lose money? Still holding it? Also, what did you buy, what price did you pay, and what price are you hoping to sell it for?
This is kind of an after the fact question, meaning I already have the gun.
I bought it from a woman whos husband died.
It's a snubnosed black S&W .38 revolver and has never been fired.
I thought 0 was a fair price and so did she.
So I gave her the money and took possesion of the gun.
So now that I have it I want to do everything proper.
I am 30 have never been arrested so I'm good there, and like to keep it that way.
What all do I need to do, in order to make the purchase ok.
I'm afraid to call and ask the Police and then end up having it confiscated b/c I did something wrong.
Also if your a anti handgun activist, please don't give me your opinion. I respect those who don't want a gun, but I choose to.
some friends of mine are film majors and they have gotten me interested in some projects they are going to be doing this Spring, including a "La Femme Nikita" female assassin type thing, and some futuristic sci-fi city things, like "Matrix."
I have been doing some help with abstract art backgrounds and costumes and now I want to help locate props.
What are some good sources for fake guns and futuristic looking weapons?
P.S. We don't have a lot of money.
I am looking to buy a flat top AR 15 for varmint hunting. I want a dependable rifle that is easy to maintain. I have looked mainly at the Bushmaster and the Remington R 15. The thing I like about the Remington is that it comes in .204 which is a caliber I like. I don't have a huge budget to buy one ether so just want to know the best rifle for my money.
I am in the market for a scope for my bushmaster AR-15. I would like to get some feed back from people who have used the weapon with various optics. Money is not a huge issue, but no one wants to get duped.
I would like to have a scope with quick acquisition abilities as well as long distance accuracy, and bright clear and crisp cross hairs.
Thank you to all who respond

Since the economy is crumbling, I'm concerned about rising crime and protecting my home, my girlfriend and myself. I would like to purchase a 9mm handgun; what brand & model should I get? I don't have a lot of money, and I'm leaning towards a Glock 19, although they are a bit pricey.
What are some less expensive alternatives without sacrificing reliability?
Oh and I do not want this question to turn into a debate; I'm not interested.
Thanks!
My boyfriend's bday is coming up and I want to surprise him with a good scope for his AR 15 and I have no idea what kind to get! But I can't just ask him without him knowing... So i gotta be sneaky! Please help!
ps, Im not wanting to spend a TON of money.... Thanks for the help!
i was told it would cost alot of money to buy ammo so i should probably refill.
