I know its legal privately, how do I find them? There is a WAC gun show, but I cannot attend. Im in the Seattle area.

I am not a current firearms owner and plan to purchase a pistol at a gun show. Isnt there a waiting period and a background check? Can i go in with I.D. and walk out with one?

I know its cheap to buy it at a gun show but the only thing that worries me is that what if something happens with a gun the show is not going to be there to look at it.
