Im not worried about bullets just knifes and dogs. looking for full body coverage.
is a bulletproof vest better than the other vests? will it stop bullets?
i bought a remington 870 super magnum and im ready for goose hunting i bought black cloud 3 and a half inch bullets but on the barrel of my gun it says i have to have a super mag Receiver to shoot 3 and a half inch bullets is this something i have to buy or is it already on my gun?
I participate in sword play as a hobby (Steel Katana) and also practice Hagan ah (hand to hand combat), and wrestle with my dogs who has sharp nails.
I have been sliced and cut along my arms and legs, which limits how much I can do, and I would like to find a product to protect myself. Problem is, most armor is either bulky metal which does not allow free movement, or fabrics made to resist bullets. More so, nearly all places I have found won't cell to a civilian.
I just want to find something that will fit snug along my arms, legs, and chest. (maybe some gloves and boots to go with) that will resist slicing from animal nails and knives and swords - stabbing not as important, but is also wanted since accidents do happen. That resists wear and tear, from rolling on dirt and basement (and likewise protects me from brush burns) and is something that a Civilian can buy.
Even if it only lessens the impact of going bare, I would appreciate any leads.
As I specified, I am looking for a snug fit. Chain Mail is not a snug fit. Chain Mail is useful protection for a portion of my activities, but it can get in the way when on the ground and in hand to hand combat. I am looking for a more "all purpose" protection against cuts, scrapes, bits, abrasion. Please show links. (also, if I have a typo, it isn't helpful to give me spelling lessons since it has nothing to do with the question)
Besides bullets ofcourse
i am planning to buy glock 17. so is the standard magazine of 17 bullets legal in california ?
Ok i'm not really gang affiliated, but I do hang out with a lot of gang members. I was walking down the street last saturday by myself and I was shot at, The driver was shooting, both backseat passengers were shooting, and the front passenger was shooting. The must have fired about 20 bullets or so. Not a single one hit me. Should I get bulletproof vest?
I'm in the army, just went to my first 9mm range, and I loved it. There was something enjoyable about firing a handgun that felt totally different from anything else I've fired. The 9mm had nearly no kick which was also kinda nice(a little change from my M-240B). Anyhow, how much should i expect to pay for my own handgun and where should i look? Do i run any risks from buying from a pawn shop? I'm really just looking for something to spray bullets out of, accuracy isn't a big concern for me.
I don't know much about guns and ammo, so I am wondering what kind of 357 magnum handgun would I buy to protect myself from an intruder, and what kind of bullets? And If I shot the intruder in the head would it kill them? And would I need a license to own the gun, and how do I purchase the gun and ammo online? Thank you for all your help.
I am new to guns and thought all 9mm's use the same size bullets. I am having a hard time researching what bullets to buy. If anyone can tell me what bullets they use in their p89, it would be a big help to me. thanks
I understand how bulletproof vests' intricately woven fibers stop bullets and spread the blunt-force trauma caused by stopping a powerful projectile over a wider area. Does it also protect against blunt force strikes in a similar manner, spreading the impact over a wider area?
So, in greater detail, would a 3.5 mm level II-A vest provide much vital organ protection in a car accident?
What caliber of bullets do the AK-47 and the AR-15 assault rifles shoot?
Also, are the bullets difficult to find?
Are the bullets expensive to buy?
Dose any1 know the age to buy a gun the procedures , and also like how long it takes to buy a hand gun.
I'm looking for the price and a really good one to use when firing in the range.
Something that holds alot of bullets with one magazine how to get it and where?
So money, and convince.
i'm 16 you douche bags.
i'm asking a sincere question out of curiosity. And thats it please stop judging me. Its not right for you to judge.
I am not bringing guns or bullets! An uncle of mine is a gun collector and wants me to bring the 'grips' for his 45 gun (made out of rubber). I called the ATF and didn't know of it! Or maybe you know of an El Salvador Department of Arms that I can contact? Any input is greatly appreciated.
