Is it legal to wear a bulletproof vest to school?
I know its a stupid question, but some teen somehow owned a bulletproof vest. (I don't, by the way). Would they be allowed to wear it to school?
I don't own it

Sure can, it’s not a weapon. If anyone tries to stop you, raise hell.
There is no universal answer to that. There may be some state or country that prohibits it. I would imagine that most schools might react to it by calling cops and starting an investigation and prohibiting such vests in the future, but that would be by school policy, not by law.
Yes, it is legal. But why would you?
School policy says no gang-related apparel.
The LAPD is a gang.
So — no go on the bulletproof vest here in Los Angeles.
Thats not really a question that can be answered on here. It would be different for every school/town etc…
I don’t see why not though.
Especially if it’s worn under clothing and they don’t let it get around school…how would anyone even know?
Body armor is available many places and you could probably wear it until told otherwise.
It depends on the rules of the school
Believe me! If any of my kids were still young enough to go to school, I would insist on them wearing one! There are far too many shootings in and around school properties! Even walking down the street these days! Only problem is, there is no way to protect your head!
