Don’t buy that commie POS.
Get an AR-15 from an American company.
I would not recommend Romanian anything to do with firearms and guns. They are horribly inaccurate, even by AK standards, If I were you go Russian you will be much more satisfied.
The difference between the WASR10 and the SAR-1 is the WASR10 use a Romanian made receiver, unlike the SAR series that uses Romanian receivers with a dimple above the magwell
The difference between the WASR10 and the WAWR10/63 are just manufactured with military rejected parts. This is not to say that they are unsafe, only that they would have caused problems when firing at full auto rates
Witch one is better whos to say.
get ak 74 5.56 by Saiga its pretty accurate for being that cheap i got 150$ from a friend that pay 400$ , 7.62 its nice but i dont see the point of shotting it if you dont have a class III license you better getting m14 or better
WASR10 were made in reaction to the AWB and would only accept single stack magazines
After the ban they were easily modified to take double stacks but sometimes not so well
If you are going Romanian the SAR1 is the best way to go if you can find one
I had one and my buddy had the WASR
They were no where near the same class of gun
I’ve got a WASR 10 and am very happy with it. I prefer the ones with the folding Tapco stock though simply because that makes it more comfortable to shoot for someone with average length arms (the wood stocks are just to short for me). Mine came with 2 (30 rd) mags, bayonet and sheath, cleaning rod and brush, sling, mag. pouch, and front site adjusting tool. Paid around $600. Are there some better? Sure, I guess. Do most people that say the Romanians are a POS know what they are talking about? NO. Whether it’s guns, trucks, knives, you name it, most people think the one they own is the best and everyone else is junk. People are too quick to draw conclusions. They’ll take a gun to the range, shoot 20 rds thru it, have one to jam, and proclaim "they ain’t no good". Give me a break. I think you’ll like a Romanian as well as any other. Just like me.
Yea, theres NOTHING wrong with romanians/WASR.
They are usually hated because they have more problems with Mag wobble, sight and barrel canting, etc.
(usually made by Century Arms)
If your buying a romanian AK, i would DEFINATELY read up on how to inspect the rifle and field strip it first!
(this will prevent you from possibly being sold a JUNK rifle that someone is just trying to get rid of….)
There are youtube videos on how to inspect the rifle and check it.
And Field stripping is a piece of cake.

Ive known several people that all have Romanian AK’s and NEVER had a single jam or hitch wrong with it.
They will usually be slightly less accurate than a higher quality AK-47, but not by much at all.
Saiga makes an EXCELLENT ak-47, and its the ONLY russian AK you’ll find anymore!
But you have to modify the cosmetics of it alittle in order to convert it to pistol grip, or folding stock, etc….also the handgrip guards can be converted too if you want.
The Saigas are basically a HUNTING/ polymer version of the AK.
Theres a good amount of aftermarket parts available….since MOST ak-47 parts fit the Saiga AK rifle too.
(just for noting, the Saiga AK is the EXACT same internal functions of a regular AK-47….its just got a different trigger set design and the outside cosmetics are different.)
