Glock 26 v 27. Is there much recoil difference between the two? Not sure which one to buy for conceal carry?
Also, where can I get Hornady FTX rounds or winchester PDX1 . Seems like noone sells them.

People worry too much about recoil. It is always on their subconscience. I shot both the 9mm Glock and the .40, and I don’t find the recoil that much different.I think if miore people quit thinking about recoil, and concentrate more on sight alignment and proper hold, their scores will improve dramatically.
There is some difference in recoil shooting such a small gun. If you don’t mind recoil the .40 may be the best. If you don’t like recoil get a 9mm.
Try them at a store with a range if you can. Some people really can’t handle a little recoil……especially if you are small. Either caliber is good for carry.
Glock 26. Because it is 9mm and the 27 is .40 and everyone hates .40 and it is not a good starting caliber. Sharper recoil proves to be too much for some people.
And .40S&W is the universally despised caliber. Even though it’s all I use.
I myself do not notice more recoil, more like the same recoil over a shorter duration. My times clearing a field of steel plates are even quicker using a 27, than the 26. This reinforces the fact that I recover faster/ or have faster follow-ups with the 27 than the 26.
Now lets see who chalks up the thumbs downs.
i cant really tell much recoil difference. 40 is a lot better than 9 in my book. my fav handgun cartridge
My conceal is a 27 (.40) I love it! Get the shorter grip and you will never show a "profile."
i have both the 26(9mm) and 27(40 cal) not much in the way of recoil 26 a little less not noticeable 40 cal has more stopping than 9mm, but 9mm is cheaper to plink . just buy a glock plug to keep out dirt and lint if you carry. fyi the 26 comes with two 10 rd mags the 27 comes with two 9 rd mags
